Carla Gugino Joins Brad Pitt in David Fincher's Film THE ADVENTURES OF CLIFF BOOTH
Carla Gugino has officially boarded The Adventures of Cliff Booth, the upcoming Netflix film that reunites directorDavid Fincher with Brad Pitt. Based on a script by Quentin Tarantino, the film continues the story of Pitt’s Cliff Booth, the quietly lethal stuntman first introduced in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, who now finds himself working as a Hollywood fixer.
Plot details are being kept under wraps, but Gugino joins a growing ensemble that already includes Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Elizabeth Debicki, and Scott Caan. Production is slated to begin later this year.
There’s no word yet on who Gugino will be playing, but she a great actress and she’ll be awesome in whatever role she takes on.
Gugino’s recent work spans both film and television. She starred opposite Naomi Watts and Bill Murray in The Friend, and will soon appear in Amazon’s action-comedy Heads of State alongside Idris Elba and John Cena.
She also earned a Critics Choice Award nomination for her performance in Netflix’s The Fall of the House of Usher and has stacked up an impressive list of credits including Jett, Leopard Skin, and The Haunting of Hill House.
On the film side, she’s known for her roles in Gerald’s Game, Watchmen, San Andreas, Gunpowder Milkshake, American Gangster, and the Spy Kids franchise.
