Carrie-Anne Moss Says She Doesn't Feel an MCU Return Coming Her Way, Though She'd "Love to Play Her Again"

We are just a few months away from the series Daredevil: Born Again, in which we will see the character Matt Murdock aka Daredevil (Charlie Cox) return with his friends and his nemesis Kingpin, who we got to know in the original Netflix series Daredevil.

We know the series will also usher in the return of the Netflix-era vigilante, the Punisher (Jon Bernthal), and this has led some fans to wonder if we will see other actors return to roles from those shows.

One actor who appeared in the series Jessica Jones, as well as across the Netflix Marvel-verse was Carrie-Anne Moss, who played Jeri Hogarth, a no-nonsense and determined lawyer that helped out the heroes, even when she didn’t see eye to eye with them.

During an interview with The Direct, Moss was asked about her possible return, and she said of the possibility:

"I loved playing her. I really don't pay much attention [to] what's happening with that whole universe. I loved playing her, one of my favorite roles I've ever played. I would, of course, love to play her again, but I don't see that. I'm pretty intuitive. I don't feel that coming my way. But I don't know."

The Marvel character Hogarth was heavily suffering from ALS in Season 3 of Jessica Jones, so it could be assumed that she passed away, or became too incapacitated to work. But it is the MCU, so any number of things could have happened to make the character return.

From the snap to the multiverse, changes could have occurred that made it possible for her to proceed. But we will just have to wait and see.

Daredevil: Born Again will debut on Disney+ on March 4th, 2025.
