Cary Elwes and Jake Busey Join STRANGER THINGS Season 3!

The Stranger Things franchise just got a little more awesome today. Netflix has announced that actors Cary Elwes (The Princess Bride) and Jake Busey (The Frighteners) have joined that cast of the upcoming third season!

Cary Elwes will be playing a character named Mayor Kline, who is described as being "handsome, slick, and sleazy. Mayor Kline is your classic ’80s politician – more concerned with his own image than with the people of the small town he governs."

Jake Busey will be taking on the role of Bruce, "a journalist for the The Hawkins Post with questionable morals and a sick sense of humor."

This is great casting for Stranger Things, and it'll be fun to see how these character end up fitting into this continuing supernatural sci-fi story. No major story details have been revealed for Stranger Things Season 3, but I have no doubt that the creative team will end up giving us something that the fans will enjoy.

Stranger Things stars Winona Ryder as Joyce Byers, David Harbour as Chief Jim Hopper, Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler, Noah Schnapp as Will Byers, Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas Sinclair, Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin Henderson, Cara Buono as Karen Wheeler, Natalia Dyer as Nancy Wheeler, Charlie Heaton as Jonathan Byers, Joe Keery as Steve Harrington, Dacre Montgomery as Billy, and Sadie Sink as Max, and more.

Cary Elwes is currently a series regular on the show The Art of More and has a few upcoming film projects such as Sugar Mountain with Jason Momoa. As for Jake Busey, he recently starred in director Shane Black's The Predator

What do you all think about Elwes and Busey joining Stranger Things Season 3?
