Cary Joji Fukunaga is Set To Direct BOND 25

The new director of James Bond 25 has been revealed, and Variety reports director Cary Joji Fukunaga will helm what should be Daniel Craig’s final romp as the spy. Fukunaga will start production along with the rest of the crew in early March, and the film is scheduled to release February 14, 2020. The Maniac, Beasts of No Nation, and Season 1 of True Detective director replaces Danny Boyle, who exited the film not long ago.

Fukunaga will direct from a new script currently being written by screenwriters Neal Purvis and Robert Wade. They’ve been working on the 007 franchise since 199'9’s The World in Not Enough.

I don’t have any strong feelings about Fukunaga over Boyle to be quite honest, but I am glad MGM wasted little time finding someone to jump in Boyle’s place! I need to see this Bond film before it gets delayed and Craig tries to leave again!
