Casting Descriptions for CASSIAN ANDOR Series Point to the Story Going All the Way Back to the Character's Childhood
We’ve got a bit of speculative news for the upcoming Disney+ series Cassian Andor. We already knew the series would take place before the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, for obvious reasons. And while we haven’t been given an official rundown of the series, we now have an idea of when in Andor’s life it could be taking place.
According to a casting description, we could see the series follow the character from childhood. Here’s what it says they’re looking for:
Mundo is a thirteen-year old, Hispanic male. The young teen has a head full of brown hair and big, passionate eyes. Needs to have a wide range from still calm to uncontrolled anger.
Mundo is a nine-year old, Hispanic male. A wild and unruly kid with a head full of brown hair and big, passionate eyes. Also needs to have a wide range from still calm to uncontrolled anger.
Cinta is 5-7 year old Hispanic female. Cinta has a head full of brown hair and big eyes. A wild and unruly kid who, what do you know, needs to have a wide range from still calm to uncontrolled anger.
This is speculation, because the characters are listed with names we haven’t heard of, but it is possible they are code names being used for the casting process. I guess we will find out more details as we get further along in the process. It may be a flashback story, as we do know that Diego Luna will be back to reprise his role, as well as Alan Tudyk as K-2SO.
Are you excited for this series?
