CASTLE PANIC Second Edition Launches to Game Stores Later This Year

Fireside Games recently announced the release dates for the second edition of Castle Panic as well as details about the new Crowns and Quests expansion. The new edition of the game features new artwork that looks really nice and some of the expansions got some updates to make play smoother.

Meanwhile, the Crowns and Quests expansion looks to add quite a bit to the game. There will be 12 playable characters, each with a unique ability for you to harness and join the royal court. Each character will be assigned to a tower and if that tower is lost, so is that character and their ability. In addition, there are quests that players will have as win conditions. At the start of the game, 1 Standard Quest and 1 Endgame Quest are chosen and monsters will continue to refill until those Quests are completed. You’re going to need your endurance for this one.

The second edition of Castle Panic will be available at game stores starting November 30 as well as Crowns and Quests and the Castle Panic Big Box which includes the base game, all four expansions, 6 promo towers, and 7 promo cards. Then, on January 25, The Wizard’s Tower expansion will be available followed by The Dark Titan on February 22 and Engines of War on March 22.
