CASTLE ROCK Season 2 Easter Egg Filled Promo Takes You on a Road Trip From Castle Rock to Jerusalem’s Lot

Hulu has released an interesting promo spot for Castle Rock Season 2. It takes the viewers on a 14-minute long road trip from Castle Rock to Jerusalem’s Lot and the radio is on to keep you entertained as you travel.

You are supposed to keep a lookout to see if you can see or hear anything. I will say, there are a ton of references to some of Stephen King’s popular stories including Stand By Me, Misery, Salem’s Lot, Maximum Overdrive, IT, Needful Things, The Mist, Under The Dome, Pet Semetary, Sleeping Beauties, The Shawshank Redemption, 11/22/63, The Stand, The Dead Zone, and more!

For those of you who are familiar with King’s work, these references aren’t hard to catch. You just have to listen. This is actually a pretty cool promo and while it may seem boring for some, it’s exciting for the Stephen King fans like myself. Check it out!

The second season of the series will introduce Annie Wilkes in the series from King’s classic horrifying story, Misery. The synopsis explains that “a feud between warring clans comes to a boil when budding psychopath Annie Wilkes (Lizzy Caplan), Stephen King's nurse from hell, gets waylaid in Castle Rock."

Castle Rock is an original suspense/thriller — a first-of-its-kind reimagining that unites King’s themes and worlds, and brings together the author’s most iconic and beloved characters.

J.J. Abrams is producing the series with King, and it was created by Sam Shaw and Dustin Thomason. Castle Rock will be released on October 23rd on Hulu.
