CASTLEVANIA Season 3 Poster Art and Premiere Date Revealed

For those of you who have enjoyed the first two seasons of the Castlevania animated series on Netflix, you’ll be happy to learn that Season 3 is set to premiere on March 5th! The announcement came from director Samuel Deats, and it came along with a piece of official poster art for you to enjoy!

If you haven’t watched this series yet, you should give it a chance because it’s actually pretty impressive. This next season will consist of 10 episodes this time around, which is almost as many as the first two seasons combined. You can bet these episodes are going to be filled with bloody violence and fun horror.

Here’s the synopsis for the series:

Inspired by the classic video game series, Castlevania is a dark medieval fantasy following the last surviving member of the disgraced Belmont clan, trying to save Eastern Europe from extinction at the hand of Vlad Dracula Tepe himself. The animated series is from Frederator Studios, a Wow! Unlimited Media company, written by best-selling author and comic book icon Warren Ellis.

The series stars Richard Armitage as Trevor Belmont, Alejandra Reynoso as Sypha Belnades, and James Callis as Alucard. Graham McTavish played Dracula, but at the end of the second season, Belmont and his team seemed to send Dracula to the grave once and for all. With Dracula gone, there are other vampires who are looking to take advantage of his absence, and Belmont, Alucard, and Sypha still have some major vampire issues to deal with.
