CD Projekt Red Teases CYBERPUNK 2077's First Expansion Called PHANTOM LIBERTY
For all the hate that Cyberpunk 2077 got at launch, it sounds like it’s got a decent fan base now. During a special Night City Wire video, CD Projekt Red went over details for the 1.6 update which will bring new features like cross-platform progression as well as items inspired by the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime on Netflix.
The team also revealed some details about the upcoming expansion which is titled Phantom Liberty with an expected release of 2023. I actually have enjoyed my time in Night City while playing on Stadia and I know that there were many others who had a lot of fun after some major updates were released so this is exciting. In Phantom Liberty, V will meet new characters, visit a new location in Night City, and Keanu Reeves will return as Johnny Silverhand.
