Celebrate 40 Years of MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM with a Theatrical Screening of CHAR'S COUNTERATTACK

Gundam fans have something to look forward to in December. To celebrate 40 years of the franchise, Fathom Events will be screening Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack, the first-ever theatrical Gundam movie, for one night. The remastered anime film will be available in approximately 400 theaters across the United States on December 5 at 7:00 PM local time. As an added bonus, fans who attend will be able to watch an exclusive interview with Yoshiyuki Tomino, the creator of the Gundam franchise as well as “newly captured content from ANIME NYC 2019.”

Amuro and Char, two best mobile suit (robotic weapons) pilots who fought together against Titans after the Zeon’s independency war, must face each other in a fateful duel where the Neo Zeon, led by Char, attempts to drop a gigantic meteor and its nuclear weapons to Earth in order to cause Nuclear Winter to wipe out the Earth inhabitants.

If you are excited for the opportunity to watch Char’s Counterattack in theaters, you can check what locations near you are participating and purchase tickets at Fathom Events’ website.
