Celebrate THE CAT RETURNS 20th Anniversary This Month in Theaters

Later this month, GKIDS and Fathom Events will be airing The Cat Returns in select theaters as part of Studio Ghibli Fest 2022. The film was directed by Hiroyuki Morita and is celebrating its 20th anniversary. Tickets are available now through Ghibli Fest and Fathom as well as your local box office. If you like the English dubbed version, you’ll want to attend the June 26 showings at 3 PM and 7 PM local time. If you prefer Japanese audio with subtitles, you’ll want the June 27 showing at 7 PM local time.

After helping a cat, a seventeen-year-old girl finds herself involuntarily engaged to a cat Prince in a magical world where her only hope of freedom lies with a dapper cat statuette come to life.
