Celebrate the Year of the Rat in OVERWATCH with New Game Modes and Skins
It’s time to celebrate the Year of the Rat with the Lunar New Year 2020, and Overwatch is offering players some fun new things to look forward to. From now until February 6, players will have access to a new game mode as well as limited-time rewards including three new epic skins.
The new game mode is CTF Blitz. This is a modified version of Capture the Flag where the flags are closer and you’re required to score six points instead of the normal three. In addition, the first weekly challenges focus on Doomfist, who will get the epic Monk Doomfist skin upon completion. Second week leads to Ancient Bronze Winston, and the third week is for Paper Cutting Wrecking Ball. These aren’t the only new skins though. The following four Legendary skins will also be available: Opera Brigitte, Face Changer Sombra, Mask Dancer Moira, and Samul Nori Lucio. As usual, new player icons, emotes, and sprays will also be available during the event.
Lunar New Year 2020 is live now and available for Overwatch players on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
