'Chadwick Boseman: A Man Among Men' Promo Trailer for MA RAINEY'S BLACK BOTTOM on Netflix Today
Netflix has released a new promo trailer for Chadwick Boseman’s final film, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. The video highlights the actor’s dedication to learning to play the trumpet for the role, as well as the love his co-stars have for the late actor, who seems to be as beloved as he was talented.
The film is set in Chicago 1927. A recording session. Tensions rise between Ma Rainey (Viola Davis), her ambitious horn player (Boseman), and the white management determined to control the legendary "Mother of the Blues."
Boseman is joined in the cast by Viola Davis, Colman Domingo, Michael Potts, Glynn Turman, Dusan Brown, and Taylour Paige. Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom is directed by George C. Wolfe, and is available to watch on Netflix today.
