Chadwick Boseman's Marvel Family Pays Loving Tribute To The Actor
Yesterday the devastating news was shared that Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther, 42, Marshal, Da Five Bloods) passed away after his four-year battle of colon cancer. Like most of you, I wasn’t even aware of his health issues, so this came as an absolute shock. I was completely floored by the news. Boseman wasn’t only a great and talented actor but a wonderful human being.
It’s amazing to see all the work he accomplished in the past four years while battling cancer. That’s just one example that shows us what kind of person that Boseman was.
Boseman’s Marvel family have expressed their love and admiration for Boseman and Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige said:
“Chadwick’s passing is absolutely devastating. He was our T’Challa, our Black Panther, and our dear friend. Each time he stepped on set, he radiated charisma and joy, and each time he appeared on screen, he created something truly indelible. He embodied a lot of amazing people in his work, and nobody was better at bringing great men to life. He was as smart and kind and powerful and strong as any person he portrayed. Now he takes his place alongside them as an icon for the ages. The Marvel Studios family deeply mourns his loss, and we are grieving tonight with his family.”
