CHAINSAW MAN THE MOVIE: REZE ARC Trailer Previews Explosive Battles and Twisted Love Story

Sony Pictures has unveiled both the subbed and dubbed trailers for Chainsaw Man The Movie: Reze Arc, the highly anticipated follow-up to the first season of the hit anime. Fans won’t have to wait too long either, as the movie slices into U.S. theaters on October 24.

The official synopsis sets the stage for Denji’s next chaotic chapter:

“Denji worked as a Devil Hunter for the yakuza, trying to pay off the debt he inherited from his parents, until the yakuza betrayed him and had him killed. As he was losing consciousness, Denji’s beloved chainsaw-powered devil-dog, Pochita, made a deal with Denji and saved his life.

“This fused the two together, creating the unstoppable Chainsaw Man. Now, in a brutal war between devils, hunters, and secret enemies, a mysterious girl named Reze has stepped into his world, and Denji faces his deadliest battle yet, fueled by love in a world where survival knows no rules.”

The new trailer teases an action-heavy story that picks up where the anime left off. Denji’s life as a devil hunter is already filled with blood, betrayal, and insanity, but his world gets even more complicated when he meets the enigmatic Reze.

What starts as the perfect first date quickly spirals into something darker, especially as Denji finds himself tempted by someone else who offers to “teach him everything.” Fans also get a glimpse of Denji’s showdown with the film’s main villain, a deadly hybrid with explosive bomb-like powers.

Chainsaw Man The Movie: Reze Arc is directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara with a screenplay by Hiroshi Seko, adapted from Tatsuki Fujimoto’s manga.

The Japanese voice cast features Kikunosuke Toya as Denji, Reina Ueda as Reze, Fairouz Ai as Power, Tomori Kusunoki as Makina, Shogo Sakata as Aki, Shiori Izawa as Pochita, Karin Takahashi as Kobeni Higashiyama, Natsuki Hanee as Beam, and Maaya Uchida as Angel Devil.

Studio MAPPA, the powerhouse behind the anime’s first season, is once again handling production.

With its mix of brutal action, twisted romance, and new devil showdowns, Reze Arc looks like an exciting and badass anime film!
