Channing Tatum, David Leitch, and Simon Kinberg Team Up for the Spy Thriller RED SHIRT

Another big film project has come together with Channing Tatum set to star in and produce it. The movie is a spy thriller titled Red Shirt, and it’s based on an original pitch by Simon Kinberg (X-Men) with David Leitch (John Wick, Deadpool 2) directing.

Red Shirt is described as being a new spin on James Bond, and the plan is to turn it into big franchise potential. This sounds like an exciting project, especially with the talent involved! Unfortunately, we don’t have any plot details to share with you!

Leitch and Kinberg are producing the project as well and I guess there’s a chance that Leitch could end up directing it. He most recently directed the Brad Pitt action film Bullet Train, and he’s about to start shooting The Fall Guy starring Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt.

As you might expect with a creative team like this, there are a lot of studios that are interested in picking it up. The film has already hit the market and studios are currently submitting offers, and it’s expected to sell big.
