Channing Tatum Set to Star in SOUNDTRACK OF SILENCE Based On a True Story
Channing Tatum (21 Jump Street, Foxcatcher) is reuniting with the writers and producers of his 2010 film Dear John to create the upcoming film Soundtrack of Silence. Tatum will star and produce along with Reid Carolin and Peter Kiernan from Free Association. Temple Hill’s Marty Bowen, Isaac Klausner, and John Fischer will also serve as producers. Jamie Linden wrote the script. Linden, Tatum, and the crew at Temple Hill are all returning from the film Dear John.
Here’s the synopsis for the true story:
Based on the true story from KQED, Soundtrack of Silence chronicles Matt and Nora Hay’s journey to preserve love in a world without sound, and how some of the greatest songs of all time helped them do it. When Hay learned as a sophomore in college that he would soon go deaf, he memorized his favorite songs in order to preserve his most important memories, including how he fell in love with his girlfriend and future wife, Nora.
This sounds like a beautiful story, and one that would fit Tatum perfectly. He is great in romantic films. I can’t wait to see who they cast as his wife. Are you interested in this story?
