Interesting New Details on Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio's Characters in ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD

We are super excited about Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming film, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, and we have some new details about two of the main characters given to us by the director himself. In a recent interview with USA Today, Tarantino described the characters played by Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt as follows:

DiCaprio’s Rick Dalton is “a man full of inner turmoil and self-pity for not being in a better position, career-wise. But as is Rick’s way, he blames everybody but himself.”

As for Pitt’s Cliff Booth, Tarantino describes the character as an “indestructible…World War II hero and one of the deadliest guys alive.” The director adds: “He could kill you with a spoon, a piece of paper or a business card. Consequently, he is a rather Zen dude who is troubled by very little.”

These are some fun and solid descriptions that give us just a bit more insight into the characters. I’m super excited for this movie, as the cast is solid, the time and place is intriguing, and it’s Tarantino. The other cast members include Margot Robbie, Timothy Olyphant, Dakota Fanning, Al Pacino, Kurt Russell, James Marsden, Emile Hirsch, Bruce Dern, Rumer Willis, Clifton Collins Jr., Tim Roth, the late Luke Perry, and many more.

Watch the trailer below, and let us know if you are excited for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. The movie hits theaters July 26, 2019.
