Charlene Amoia Joins the Cast of BIRDS OF PREY as Huntress' Mother

Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) has added Charlene Amoia to the cast as Maria Bertinelli. Maria is the mother of Huntress who will be played by Mary Elizabeth Winstead. The other stars of the film include Ella Jay Basco, Ewan McGregor, Chris Messina, Rosie Perez, Margot Robbie, and Jurnee Smollet-Bell. Cathy Yan is directing the film using a screenplay from Christina Hodson.

The film will focus on Harley Quinn, Huntress, and Black Canary teaming up in order to protect Cassandra Cain from Black Mask after she steals a diamond from him.

Birds of Prey is currently slated to be released February 7, 2020.
