Check Out a Clip from the Orchestral Score for RADIANT BLACK #3

If you like superhero comics, you need to be reading Radiant Black from Kyle Higgins and Marcela Costa. In addition to an incredible story and fantastic art, there’s even a score to go along with the comics. That’s right, there’s an orchestral score by Sam Ewing (The Walking Dead), and it’s awesome! Image Comics recently shared a clip of recording the track for Radiant Black #3, “Writing Day.”

RADIANT BLACK #3 by Kyle Higgins and Marcelo Costa will treat fans to a creative departure for the series and focus on main character Nathan’s writing process. As a special treat for RADIANT BLACK fans, Sam Ewing (co-composer on THE WALKING DEAD) composed and recorded a live orchestra track to tie-in with the recent issue’s story—one of the six planned to accompany each issue of the first story arc in the series.

I freaking love this comic series, and it just gets better and better. I cannot recommend it enough. Radiant Black #3 is available to read now from local comic shops, comiXology (affiliate link), or wherever you buy comics.

Okay, that's it. Nathan's getting down to business today: he's finally working on his novel. All he needs is some solitary writing time—no "helpful" parents, no superhero social media, and definitely no alien voices beaming an unintelligible language into his brain. That's not too much to ask for, right?
