Check Out a Preview for Mike Mignola's New Comic FRANKENSTEIN UNDONE #1

Mike Mignola is probably most famous for creating Hellboy. Well, now he’s telling the story of how Mary Shelley’s classic Frankenstein’s monster ended up in the world of Hellboy in Frankenstein Undone. That’s right, this new series is set to bridge the gap between Shelley’s novel and Mignola’s Frankenstein Underground story.

Frankenstein’s creator lies dead in the icy grip of the Arctic, and the monster searches for a new purpose. Just as he thinks he’s found one with a group of unlikely companions, disaster strikes—and the monster is catapulted out of Mary Shelley’s novel and into the world of Hellboy.

Mignola teamed up with Scott Allie to write the story for Frankenstein Undone #1 with Ben Stenbeck providing art and the cover and Brennan Wagner providing colors. The first issue will be available on January 29. You can pre-order the first issue on comiXology now.
