Check Out Some Cool Early STAR WARS: ROGUE ONE Concept Art Featuring the Original Team Design
I’m sure many of you watched Rogue One: A Star Wars Story over the weekend. Wasn’t it awesome!? I’ve already seen it twice, and I can’t wait to see it again! Since the release of the film, some cool, must-see concept art has surfaced featuring alternate character designs. This is all part of a book that currently available for purchase called The Art of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
The concept art that has been released to promote the book features early alternate designs for Felicity Jones' Jyn Erso and the rest of the Rebel team, including the first version of Alan Tudyk’s hilarious droid character K-2SO. As you can see in the first image above, the original line-up of rebels had a very different look, and it even had a couple of alien species characters.
I love seeing art for Star Wars films that show us what could have been. Don’t get me wrong, I loved how Rogue One turned out, but it’s fun to imagine that story with these different character designs. Check ‘em all out below!
