It’s pretty incredible to see how far robot technology is progressing and evolving these days, and Engineered Arts in Cornwall, England has revealed a new A.I. humanoid robot they’ve created called Ameca. What made Ameca so special is that the robot has a wide range of realistic facial expressions and responsive physical interactions. It’s crazy!
This thing blinks, smiles, raises its eyebrows, and reacts to things in a realistic fashion. The whole point is so that the robot comes off as being friendly and approachable to others. You know, so it can lure people in and then kill them.
Smooth, lifelike motion and advanced facial expression capabilities means Ameca can strike an instant rapport with anybody.
