Before we get any further in this article, I want to make one thing clear. I do not think The Simpsons is funnier in Spanish, and Dan Castellaneta is my definitive voice for Homer Simpson. That said, I've always found it fascinating that such an iconic show may be completely different for another audience, and guys like Humberto Vélez have become THE voice of Homer despite the fact that he isn't the original.

For that reason, and because he's a great interview, I'm sharing this video. Vélez may not be my Homer, but he's definitely one of the best guys voicing the character out there! Check out the video below and see if you agree:
