Check Out This Impressive Japanese STAR WARS Folding Screen

Just a few weeks ago, Star Wars: The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson was in Japan doing promotions for the upcoming eighth episode of the Star Wars saga. During that visit, Johnson made an appearance at a historic temple near the ancient capital of Kyoto. As StarWars-jp.com and The Kyoto Shimbun reported, he was there as part of the unveiling of a Star-Wars-themed Japanese folding screen, a piece done in black ink by artist Masayuki Kojo. The screen depicts R2-D2, C-3PO and Kylo Ren posed on a black and white background. The folding screen will be on display at a tourist center in Uji until October 1.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi arrives in theaters on December 15.
