Check Out This Prosthetic Makeup Artist Demonstrate 11 Levels Of Difficulty

Prosthetic makeup has always fascinated me. Although I’ve never gotten into doing it myself, I think it is so cool to watch someone be transformed into strange and fantastical creatures. In a world saturated with computer generated special effects, I’m always happy to see practical effects get used.

Wired has put up a video featuring professional prosthetic makeup artist Meg Wilbur transforming model Andrew Scott Miller from man to demon. Wilbur explains each step of the way how she is achieving the look she wants and telling the story she wants to tell with each increasing level of difficulty.
