Chewbacca Actor Peter Mayhew Releases Pages from Original 1976 STAR WARS Script
Fans of any franchise are always on the hunt for something unique, something special, something that signifies the history of a book or a movie. So Star Wars fans might just want to follow Peter Mayhew on Twitter as he has some pretty exciting things to share with us.
The actor who played Chewbacca announced on his account that each day he will be sharing pages from his very own copy of the original 1976 Star Wars: A New Hope script that he received from George Lucas. He will be doing that in order to celebrate the beginning of the filming of Star Wars: Episode VIII. But that’s NOT all, folks, because the whole thing will lead to a big announcement.
Mayhew already posted four pages of the script. Check them out below and pretend you can smell the history, or at least the 40 year old pages.
