TOHO's CHIBI GODZILLA RAIDS AGAIN Officially Launches with English Subtitles

TOHO has officially released the first episode of Chibi Godzilla Raids Again with English subtitles. Words cannot describe this series of shorts. We only have the first episode so far, but new episodes will drop weekly on Mondays and it is something. There will be a total of 13 episodes that run for 2:40 and each one will focus on “quirky and hilarious exchanges” between Godzilla and other monsters like Mechagodzilla.

Fans will find Chibi Godzilla living on Monster Island, when suddenly, the appearance of Chibi Mechagodzilla shakes things up for all monsters.

I will warn you that the animation for Chibi Godzilla Raids Again is extremely simple and some of the characters look extremely different. It’s definitely not what I expected, but there was still a charm to the first episode. Godzilla is basically an idiot, but it’s still kind of funny to me. This is basically pure chaos in the form of something related to Godzilla, so do with that what you will. Chibi Godzilla is voiced by Jun Fukuyama and I do like their performance.
