CHICKEN RUN 2 Officially Happening

If you had forgotten Chicken Run was a movie, I wouldn’t blame you. It was really popular when it first came out in 2000, and was a pretty good little film. It used claymation and was made by the same guys who did Wallace & Gromit, Aardman Animations. Now, 18 years later, it has been announced that it will get a sequel.

Chicken Run 2 will be directed by Sam Fell (ParaNorman, Flushed Away) and the screenplay will be written by Karey Kirkpatrick and John O'Farrell who wrote the original Chicken Run. Also of note is that the co-founders of Aardman, Peter Lord (he was a co-director for the first film) and David Sproxton will serve as executive producers. I think I’m gonna go home and watch Chicken Run now, what do you think the story will be?
