Chilling Clip From Kenneth Branagh Horror Mystery Thriller A HAUNTING IN VENICE
20th Century Studios has released a creepy clip from director Kenneth Branagh’s upcoming horror mystery thriller, A Haunting in Venice. The clip is titled “Listening” and it features Michelle Yeoh as the psychic medium Mrs. Reynolds as she conjures a spirit for her guests. As you might imagine as her guests are freaking out, Hercule Poirot is curious but skeptical.
A Haunting in Venice is based upon the novel “Hallowe’en Party” by Agatha Christie, and Branagh once again stars as famed detective Hercule Poirot.
The movie is set in eerie, post-World War II Venice on All Hallows’ Eve and is a terrifying mystery featuring the return of the celebrated sleuth, Hercule Poirot. Now retired and living in self-imposed exile in the world’s most glamorous city, Poirot reluctantly attends a séance at a decaying, haunted palazzo. When one of the guests is murdered, the detective is thrust into a sinister world of shadows and secrets.
The ensemble cast also includes Kyle Allen, Camille Cottin, Jamie Dornan, Tina Fey, Jude Hill, Ali Khan, Emma Laird, Kelly Reilly, and Riccardo Scamarcio.
A Haunting in Venice opens exclusively in theaters September 15, 2023. There are also special advance screening events taking place. I’ve included information for that below the clip.
