Chilling Trailer for Peacock Series DEVIL IN DISGUISE: JOHN WAYNE GACY Starring Michael Chernus
Peacock has released a new trailer for their limited series, Devil In Disguise: John Wayne Gacy. The notorious serial killer is played by Michael Chernus (Orange is the New Black, Severance), who is being investigated by Gabriel Luna’s Detective Rafael Tovar.
In the trailer, the detective faces a bigger challenge than he even imagined when, after finding the bodies of young men buried underneath Gacy’s home, the most serious charge he stands to face is illegally operating a graveyard.
Determined to put him behind bars for much longer, the state of Illinois must search for more evidence that he committed these murders.
From 1972-1978, thirty-three young men were kidnapped, murdered and buried in a crawl space beneath the house of their killer, Gacy, who went undetected for years because he was charming and funny, had a good, all-American job, was a community leader and even volunteered to entertain sick kids… while dressed as a clown.
