Chilling Trailer for the Horror Movie BARBARIAN Starring Bill Skarsgård
Some stay for a night. Some stay for a week. Some never leave.
20th Century Studios and New Regency have released a trailer for a new horror thriller titled Barbarian, and this looks like it’s going to tell a chilling and mysterious story. The movie also has a great cast that includes Bill Skarsgård, Georgina Campbell, and Justin Long.
In the film, “a young woman traveling to Detroit for a job interview books a rental home. But when she arrives late at night, she discovers that the house is double booked, and a strange man is already staying there. Against her better judgement, she decides to spend the evening, but soon discovers that there’s a lot more to fear than just an unexpected house guest.”
This is a great movie trailer! It’s super intense and does a fantastic job selling the film, but still hides the mystery of what is going on. A lot of movie trailers these days give way too much of the story away, but not this one! The trailer seems to tease some kind of experiment being conducted under a suburban house.
The movie was produced by Roy Lee, who previously brought us It: Chapter One and Chapter Two and The Ring. It was written and directed by Zach Cregger, and it’s set to be released in theaters on August 31st.
