Chinese Figure Skaters Perform to STAR WARS Soundtrack at Winter Olympics

Star Wars is not very popular in China. That’s why it is surprising that at the 2018 Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, free skaters Xiaoyu Yu and Hao Zhang from China performed their routine to songs from those films. The songs used were "Leia" from the original trilogy and "Jyn Erso Suite" from Rogue One. The routine is pretty cool to watch, too. I can’t believe that figure skaters don’t get slashed up with how close faces get to the skates. Also, can we talk about how strong he’s got to be in order to hold her up one handed? Color me impressed. I guess their choice in music is another testament to how good the soundtrack has been for Star Wars movies. Even if you don’t like the movies, it’s hard to not like the beautiful music. Unfortunately, we don't have footage from the Olympics, but here's their routine from last year's Skate America.
