Chiwetel Ejiofor is in Talks to Join MALEFICENT 2

Marvel fans will know Chiwetel Ejiofor from his work in Doctor Strange. Firefly fans will know him from Serenity. Soon, Lion King fans will know him as Scar from the upcoming live-action adaptation.

It appears Ejiofor is getting more and more comfortable with Disney as The Hashtag Show reports, he is currently in talks to join Michelle Pfeiffer and Ed Skrein for Maleficent 2. The report states he is in talks to be the romantic foil to Angelina Jolie’s Maleficent.

That sounds like an interesting role for him as I will automatically assume that he’s the antagonist. Are you excited for him to be in the film? Does it convince you to go see it?
