Chloë Grace Moretz Says She Has Met With Marvel and Says She'd Like to Play a Villain
Chloë Grace Moretz has had a number of really cool roles in her career, like playing Hit Girl opposite Nicolas Cage in Kick-Ass, JGL’s wise younger sister in 500 Days of Summer, playing the iconic horror movie star Carrie, starring opposite Denzel Washington in The Equalizer, co-starring in the remake of Suspiria, and so many other projects.
She is now starring in the upcoming Amazon series The Peripheral, which ComicBook recently interviewed her for, and they asked her if she had ever thought of joining Marvel, or if she’d talked to the studio about a possible role. She responded, saying:
"Yeah, we've talked a little bit about it. I mean, I think for me, I would be really interested in playing a villain in Marvel or DC, and jumping into more of the darker side of the role. I love a superhero. I think that'd be really fun, too, but I think it's just all about finding the one that really matches what you're wanting to get across, and the scope of the character. I think it'd be really fun if it was the right role and the right project."
Moretz also recently shared with Capital FM:
"I've always had this want to play a villain, but I think people might peg me more as a superhero. I would enjoy to be, of course, in the Marvel Universe, in any way, shape, or form."
I think she would be an awesome addition to the MCU. I hope to see it happen soon. What role do you think she would be perfect for?
