Chloe Moretz Battles a Gremlin on a B-17 Bomber During WWII in Awesome Trailer for SHADOW IN THE CLOUD
An awesomely wild trailer has been released for Chloe Grace Moretz's upcoming World War II monster action film Shadow in the Cloud. The story centers on a young woman who is a member of the WAAF (Women’s Auxiliary Air Force) in World War II flying a B-17 Flying Fortress bomber and is tasked with taking care of some top-secret documents on board.
The film was directed by Roseanne Liang, who also wrote the script that was originally written by that bully of a screenwriter Max Landis, whose career has completely tanked. Everyone involved with the film has since distanced themselves from Landis.
Here’s the synopsis:
Writer-director Roseanne Liang pays pulpy tribute to air force women's auxiliaries in WWII with Shadow In The Cloud, a rip-roaring action/horror hybrid that finds one such airwoman, WAAF officer Maude Garrett (Chloë Grace Moretz), assigned under mysterious circumstances to a rickety B-17 Flying Fortress, where she is custodian of a strictly classified piece of cargo. Forcibly sequestered by the all-male crew to a ball turret hanging from the belly of the bomber, Garrett’s dizzying new-found perspective brings to light yet another unexpected passenger — one whose stealthily sinister presence may jeopardize the lives of all aboard.
That sinister presence on board the plane is a gremlin, and Maude finds herself battling for her life against it! The movie looks like a blast, and as you’ll see in the trailer there’s going to be lots of yelling, screaming, shooting, and over-the-top craziness.
Shadow in the Cloud will be released On Demand on January 1, 2021. Check out the trailer and tell us what you think!
