Chris Evans and Tom Holland To Star in THE DEVIL ALL THE TIME
Chris Evans and Tom Holland will star in a new movie together but it won't be a Marvel movie. The film is called The Devil All the Time and they will be joined by Robert Pattinson and Mia Wasikowska. That's quite and impressive ensemble cast!
The film will be an adaptation of the 2011 novel written by Donlad Ray Pollack, and it will be directed by Antonio Campos (Christine, Simon Killer, The Sinner). This sounds like it's going to be quite an intense film and here are the details that have been revealed:
In a place called Knockemstiff, Ohio, a forgotten backwoods of this country – a storm of faith, violence and redemption brews. Out of desperation to save his dying wife, our protagonist Willard Russell turns to prayer which succumbs to sacrifice. His son Arvin (Holland) is growing from a kid bullied at school into a man who knows when to take action. The cast of characters includes a serial killer couple, a faith-testing preacher and a corrupt local sheriff (Evans) in a story told across two decades.
It's going to be interesting to see these actors take on these roles because they are very different from anything we've seen them do before. Jake Gyllenhaal is also a producer on the project.
