Chris Evans Reveals His Favorite Captain America Scene From The MCU
Chris Evans has been on one hell of a journey as Captain America in the MCU. I love his version of the character and after Avengers: Endgame, there’s a good chance that we may never see Evans in the role of Captain America again. I hope I’m wrong! But, we all know that big changes are coming after Endgame, and we really have no idea what the fates will be for the original core Avengers team.
With The Infinity Saga coming to a close, Evans has been reflecting on his time as Steve Rogers, and while talking to THR, he revealed his favorite Captain America scene from the MCU:
“I'm partial to that fight scene in the elevator. That was the first scene in the second Captain America movie. It was my first time working with the Russos. It was the first time where it felt like Cap was on his own. The first cap movie, you really feel like everyone was holding my hand. The first Avengers movie I just did my best not to get in the way. The second Cap movie is the one where I really felt, I suppose pressure, and that first elevator fight scene came out really great in my opinion.”
Hell, yeah! I’d have to say that’s one of my favorite Captain America scenes in the MCU as well. Hell, Captain America: Winter Solider is, in my opinion, still the best Marvel move that has been made. I watched it again recently and was once again blown away be how well-made that movie is.
That movie kicked the MCU into a whole new gear of awesomeness and the films have been building on the groundwork it laid ever since. The Winter Soldier also marks The Russo Brothers' Marvel debut and they’ve done some pretty incredibly epic things with the franchise since.
What would you say your favorite Captain America scene is in the MCU?
