Chris Evans Wants To Make an 80s-Style Buddy Comedy With Chris Hemsworth

As you might imagine, after working together for so many years on the Marvel movies, Chris Hemsworth and Chris Evans have become very close friends. Hemsworth explains to Variety, that they have become such good friends that they aren’t allowed to do press interviews together because they’d screw around so much:

“I think they wouldn’t pair us up on this press tour, because we just spend the whole time screwing around and none of it is on topic.”

Variety even reached out to Evans for a comment regarding this, and he confirmed that what Hemsworth is saying is true. He then went on to say that he would love to team up with Hemsworth in an 80s-style buddy comedy at some point in the future:

"We had too much fun together, and truly like kids in school, we were separated because we couldn't get shit done. I would love to do one of those '80s buddy comedies, where we could shed the characters we are known for."

I would actually love to see a buddy comedy movie with Evans and Hemsworth! That could be a ton of fun to watch. Hopefully one day it happens and if it does, it would be even better if Taika Waititi directed the film! Someone in Hollywood needs to get on top of making this happen!
