Chris Hemsworth in Talks to Star in Disney's PRINCE CHARMING Movie

Chris Hemsworth is in talks to star in Disney’s recently announced Prince Charming movie, which is being helmed by Paddington franchise director Paul King.

If cast, Hemsworth will take on the lead role of Prince Charming. There are no plot details to share on the project, but it was previously pointed out that it won’t be about Cinderella’s Prince Charming.

This whole thing seems like a silly movie idea and I can see it work as a parody comedy of sorts that pokes fun at these Prince Charming archetype characters, but I don’t think that’s the direction they will take it.

Simon Farnaby and Jon Croker are co-writing along with King. King did a great job with the Paddington film, but his Wonka movie was a disappointment. For the most part, he seems like a talented filmmaker and strong storyteller, so we’ll just have to wait and see what he cooks up for this.
