Chris Hemsworth, Jurnee Smollett, and Miles Teller to Star in Director Joseph Kosinski's Netflix Sci-Fi Thriller SPIDERHEAD

Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Jurnee Smollett (Lovecraft Country), and Miles Teller (Whiplash) have all signed on to star in the upcoming Netflix feature adaptation, Spiderhead. The sci-fi thriller is based on the short story by George Saunders, and it’s being adapted by writing partners Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (Deadpool, Zombieland), with Joseph Kosinski (Top Gun: Maverick) directing.

Here’s the synopsis:

Spiderhead is set in the near future, when convicts are offered the chance to volunteer as medical subjects in hopes of shortening their sentences. The focus is on two prisoners who become the test patients for emotion-altering drugs that force the prisoners to grapple with their pasts in a facility run by a brilliant visionary who supervises the program.

This sounds like a really solid cast and crew of talent! I am also intrigued by the story. This sounds like it could be a fun thriller to watch. Are you looking forward to Spiderhead?
