Chris Pratt Is Looking to Star in THE SAINT Reboot

Chris Pratt is in talks with Paramount Pictures to star in a reboot of the action franchise The Saint. If things work out, the studio is hoping to build a franchise around the character Simon Templar.

Templar is kinda like Robin Hood in that he robs from the criminally rich and gives to the poor and deserving. Of course, he makes sure to keep a percentage for himself! “His strict moral code makes him target those who got their wealth through nefarious means - corrupt politicians, warmongers and the like. His criminal activities put him at odds with the law, but his wit, charm and intelligence tends to keeps him one step ahead of the police.”

Templar was previously played by Roger Moore in the 1960s and by Val Kilmer in the 1997 film that was directed by Phillip Noyce.

It’s not hard to imagine Pratt in the role. It seems like the kind of character that he could easily slip right into. We’ll just have to wait and see if he ends up in the role.

The Saint is based on the 1940s serial and Lorenzo di Bonaventura (Transformers) is on board to produce.

What do you think about Chris Pratt possibly starring in a reboot of The Saint?
