Chris Pratt Set to Star in a 'High Octane Action Comedy' Titled SAIGON BODYGUARDS
Universal Pictures is producing a “high octane action comedy” titled Saigon Bodyguards, and Chris Pratt is set to star in the film alongside Wu Jing (Wolf Soldier). The movie is actually a remake of a Vietnamese film of the same name.
Saigon Bodyguards focuses on two friends, “one a straight arrow and the other a doof, who try to find a corporate heir who got kidnapped right under their noses. The plot thickens from there.”
The script is being written by Alex Gregory and Peter Huyck (What Men Want, HBO’s Veep). Pratt is also a producer on the project along with Marvel directors Joe and Anthony Russo. There’s no word on who will direct the film.
I included the trailer for the original film below to give you an idea of what we can expect from the movie.
