Chris Pratt's Conspiracy Thriller Action Series THE TERMINAL LIST Lands at Amazon

Director Antoine Fuqua and Chris Pratt’s conspiracy thriller series, The Terminal List, has been picked up by Amazon Prime.

The series is based on Jack Carr’s bestselling novel, the story of which follows a Navy SEAL character named James Reece (Pratt). “After his entire platoon of Navy SEALs is ambushed during a high-stakes covert mission, Reece returns home to his family with conflicting memories of the event and questions about his culpability. However, as new evidence comes to light, Reece discovers dark forces working against him, endangering not only his life but the lives of those he loves.”

This is a passion project for Pratt, who is the one that acquired the rights to Carr’s novel and brought in Fuqua to direct. Carr is a former Navy SEAL and Special Ops team leader.

To help with authenticity, the show will bring in veterans and their families “as part of multiple aspects of the series production, starting with writing. Half the show’s writing staffers are either veterans themselves or have veterans in their families.” That’s pretty cool.

This sounds like the kind of series that I’ll enjoy watching.
