Chris Pratt's Star-Lord Is Rumored to Be Returning to the MCU in Surprising Marvel TV Project
Chris Pratt’s run as Peter Quill aka Star-Lord in the MCU began with the first Guardians of the Galaxy. He went on to appear in the last two Avengers films, and wrapped up his GOTG trilogy with the final film teasing that he would eventually return.
Pratt doesn’t currently have any Marvel movies on his IMDb schedule, but according to a new rumor, his return is sooner than we may have thought, and in a surprising project.
According to industry scooper James Mack on X (via SuperHeroHype), Star-Lord will next appear in VisionQuest before reuniting with the rest of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in Avengers: Doomsday.
His return in Doomsday doesn’t come as much of a surprise. Everyone else will be there, why not Star-Lord? But his appearance in VisionQuest is a much bigger curveball. Peter Quill has never overlapped much with Paul Bettany’s Vision, but I’m interested to see it happen if this ends up being true.
VisionQuest is set to be released sometime in 2026, more than likely before Avengers: Doomsday hits theaters on December 18, 2026. We will just have to wait and see what happens with Pratt’s character when each of these stories hit our screens.
