Watch Chris Rock Address Will Smith's Slap at His Stand-Up Show - "I'm Still Processing What Happened"

A lot of people have been wondering what Chris Rock’s thoughts are after Will Smith walked up to him on stage at the Oscars and hit him in the face after making a G.I. Jane joke directed at Jada Pickett-Smith.

Last night Rock performed at a sold-out comedy in Boston. This is the first appearance that he’s made since the Oscars and it’s also the first time that he’s publically addressed the situation.

So, what did he have to say? Here it is:

“How was your weekend? I don’t have a bunch of shit about what happened, so if you came to hear that, I have a whole show I wrote before this weekend. I’m still kind of processing what happened. So, at some point I’ll talk about that shit, and it will be serious and funny.”

In regards to Rock speaking to Smith after everything went down, the comedian suggests he has not talked to him, saying, “I haven’t talked to anyone despite what you may have heard.”

So, while he did not have to say much about it, one day he will, and there’s no doubt that fans are looking forward to the day when he unpacks that.

It makes sense that he’s still processing what happened. A lot of people are, and they weren’t even directly involved with it! Also, I’m sure the guy has put in a lot of work with the standup set that he did and there’s no reason for that to go to waste. When he’s ready to talk about it and joke about it, his fans will be there to listen and laugh.
