Christian Bale And Others In Talks For Biopic On Former Vice President Dick Cheney

Christian Bale is being eyed to play the former Vice President of America, Dick Cheney, in an upcoming biopic. The film, which is being directed by Big Short director Adam McKay, will look to focus on the political career of Cheney dating all the way back to the Richard Nixon era to his stint as Vice President under George W. Bush.

Variety tells us that in addition to Bale, McKay is also in talks with Steve Carrell to play Donald Rumsfeld and Amy Adams to play Cheney's wife. Personally, I'm just waiting to see how Christian Bale manages to transform himself to play Dick Cheney because they do not look even close to similar! No release date or title for this project yet, but we'll keep you updated as we learn more.
