Christina Ricci Is Terrorized by a Creepy Creature in Trailer for the Horror Film MONSTROUS
Christina Ricci stars in an upcoming creature feature horror film titled Monstrous, and a spooky, fun new trailer for the movie has been released. This movie looks like it will deliver some fun thrills as Ricci plays a woman who finds herself and her son being terrorized by some kind of dark and creepy creature. I liked what I saw in this trailer, and I’m down to watch the movie!
Here’s the synopsis:
A terrifying new horror awaits Laura (Christina Ricci) and her seven-year-old son Cody when they flee her abusive ex-husband and try to settle into a new life in an idyllic and remote lakeside farmhouse. Still traumatized, their physical and mental well-being are pushed to the limit as their fragile existence is threatened.
It also looks like the story is set in the 1950s, which is a fun setting for a horror movie. The movie was directed by Chris Sivertson (Brawler, Escape Plan 2), and it also stars Colleen Camp (Sliver, Clue), Don Balderamos (Castle), Nick Vallelonga (Green Book, The Many Saints of Newark), and Santino Barnard.
Monstrous lurks out of the shadows and into theaters and On Demand on May 13th.
