Christina Ricci Set To Star in Supernatural Thriller MONSTROUS
Christina Ricci is set to star in the lead role in an upcoming supernatural thriller titled Monstrous. The movie centers on a traumatized woman who is on the run from her abusive ex-husband with her 7-year-old son.
They find themselves in a remote sanctuary where “they find they have a bigger, more terrifying monster to deal with.”
The movie comes from director Chris Sivertson and screenwriter Carol Chrest. The director shared in a statement that, “Carol Chrest created an iconic genre character who Christina Ricci brings to life in a mesmerizing and deeply emotional performance.”
This is going to be a great film project for Ricci to be a part of. She’s a talented actress and while she doesn’t make a lot of mainstream films anymore, she’s always fantastic in the roles that she does end up taking. I’ll be looking forward to watching her in this.
