CHRISTMAS AT THE KRINGLES Trailer Unleashes Holiday Horror, Twisted Christmas Cheer, and a Badass Santa
Christmas is coming early this year, and it looks like a complete nightmare! Briarcliff Entertainment has released the full trailer for the upcoming holiday horror comedy Christmas at the Kringles, and this thing looks absolutely bonkers.
We’ve got creepy neighbors, Christmas-obsessed lunatics, sinister holiday traditions, and a rogue Santa Claus ready to kick some ass.
The film follows the Severson family, who move into a seemingly peaceful suburban neighborhood looking for a fresh start. Unfortunately, they end up living next door to the Kringles, a family whose love for Christmas goes way beyond decorating the house and playing holiday music.
These people celebrate Christmas every single day of the year, and they have some seriously disturbing ideas about spreading holiday cheer.
At first, the Kringles seem like harmless eccentrics, but things take a troubling turn when Mark and Julie Severson notice their son becoming increasingly attached to their strange neighbors.
When the family attempts to confront the Kringles, they're invited into a bizarre holiday gathering that reveals something far more sinister than an unhealthy obsession with Christmas.
The Kringles are determined to hypnotize and indoctrinate their neighbors into their twisted Christmas lifestyle, whether they like it or not.
With his family in danger, Mark finds himself fighting to bring them home. His unlikely ally is a rogue Santa Claus, played by Rob Riggle, who joins him for a wild, action-packed rescue mission against the Christmas fanatics.
The film stars Ron Livingston and Rachel Bilson as Mark and Julie, with a supporting cast that includes Arden Myrin, Beverly D'Angelo, David Wain, Thomas Lennon, and Donald Faison.
Willy's Wonderland director Kevin Lewis is helming the movie, which should give horror fans a pretty good idea of the kind of insanity they're in for. Lewis previously delivered the awesomely ridiculous Nicolas Cage horror flick about killer animatronics, and Christmas at the Kringles looks like it'll bring that same wonderfully deranged energy to the holiday season.
The screenplay comes from Zack Imbrogno. The first teaser trailer offered a fun taste of the madness, but this new footage takes things to another level and it looks like a fun ride!
Briarcliff Entertainment will release Christmas at the Kringles in theaters nationwide on October 30, 2026, just in time for Halloween.
